A Part of Me. Sculptures and Dolls by Regina Herrmann
On the occasion of the 70th birthday of Regina Herrmann, this book takes a retrospective look at her artistic life’s work. The decades of work carried out by the Saxon artist in the field of fabric sculpture are particularly remarkable. Herrmann is able to breathe new life into dead material by giving it part of her soul and thus making her sculptures a part of her very being. When creating her work, Regina Herrmann explores the topics of divine images, female beings, myths and cultures – especially figures from Sorbian legends.
