Audio guide for adults

For our visitors from abroad the Sorbian Museum holds audio guides. The audio guided tour contains 13 stations from the respective sections. Each station is around 2-3 minutes long so that the visitor will be guided through the house for around 35 minutes. The tour with the audio guide gives an insight into the history of the Sorbs, the culture, the customs and the everyday life.

It is possible to select one of the following languages: german, english, french, russian, polish, czech and of course sorbian.

Video guide for children

The guide leads through the museum in 34 entertaining stations. Equipped with an iPod and headphones the children explore the museum independently. In short animated films the five legendary characters present Sorbian history, customs and everyday life in a child-friendly manner. Together with the small goblin Lutk, the giant Sprejnik, the daughter of Aquarius, the Will-o’-the-Wisp and the king of snakes the tour becomes a real listening and viewing experience! This is how modern technology creates a contemporary access to knowledge transfer and languages.

It is possible to select one of the following languages: german, english, polish, czech and of course sorbian.

Museum tour via QR code

You can also experience the audio tour for adults and the animated children’s tour using a QR code and your private mobile device. By scanning or photographing the codes a link to the museum page opens and the respective stations are played.

We wish you an entertaining tour through the museum with interesting information about Sorbian history and culture!
