Photographic workshop during the winter holidays. Experience photography with a profesional!
For the next holiday season we have a special offer for photoenthusiasts! You can join our photographic workshop, held by the art photographer Jürgen Matschie from Bautzen. It is open to all ages! For the first section february the 15nth – to take photos is on the list, later you might evaluate them together with the other participants. For the second section, February the 22nd discussing earlier works by yourself and photographic advice are planned. You have the opportunity to profit from a lot of experience.
It is necessary that you bring your own camera, food und 5 € participants fee for each section.

You can participate at one appointement single (without joining the other), but please be aware, that the second appointement is based at the first one.

Scientific Trainee
Since January 2017 Monika Ošikowa works as a scientific trainee in the Serbski muzej – Sorbian Museum. In the next two years Mrs. Oschika is going to acquire work-experience as well as specific knowledge about the museums business. Being a studied landscape-architect she has already gathered experience on a nine month internship fot the Museum of western Lusatia in Kamenz.
In the Sorbian Museum she supports the field of museologica pedagogy, creation of educational programmes and guided tours through the museum.
launch party for two illustrated books with historic photographs of Lusatia
An invitation to the book-launch about two illustrated volumes about historic photography in [wendish] Lusatia from its beginnings until the 1930s is given by the Domowina-publishing in cooperation with the Serbski muzej for wednesday, february the 22nd 2017 a 7.00 p.m. at the Serbski muzej – Sorbisches Museum.
Editor Jürgen Matschie and the authors Andrea Paulik, Maria Mirtschin as Martina Noack are going to present the two volumes, each dedicated to the sorbian Upper Lusatian area or the sorbian/wendish Lowe Lusatian area. Everyone interested is cordialy invited.
At 6 p.m. a guided tour through the special exhibition “Wotmolowane. – Mit Licht gemalt” will be held by the curator Mr. Jürgen Matschie.
