Music and Dance at the Sorbian Museum

The Sorbian Museum is open from 10am until 6pm. Our permanent exhibition offers you a wide variety of history, culture and language of the Sorbs living in the Upper and Lower Lusatia. Adult or children audio tours are free of charge!
- 30 August 2019, at 5 p.m.: “Serbska reja” – Sorbian/ Wendish folk dances
Welcome to the “Old Town Festival of Bautzen“. Therefore we would like to invite you to join our dance and music evening presented by the music group “Serbska reja” at 5 pm. Don’t be shy, it is open to everyone, whether dance beginner or expert. (Free entry)
- 31 August 2019, at 5 p.m.: Concert “Aliquis”
The Czech group “Aliquis” plays in the historical hall at the Sorbian museum. Their music is based on medieval concords as well as on melodies 
of Baroque and Renaissance. To enjoy this magical ancient and fabulous music to the fullest, every song is played on a range of historical instruments. (Free entry)
