The theme of this special exhibtion are the beginnings of photography in the lusatian wendish area. The collected works cover the timeline of the first eighty years of photography since the invention and with that they show, when and how the wendish element appears in photographic works. Countless picture in different archives of Upper and Lower Lusatia had to be sighted. That is why, photographs from the 1850s on were made available an can be shown to the public for the first time now.
Apart of the approximately 180 original pictures, pictures in digfital frames will be shown as well as historique technique eqipment and an imitation of a historic photostudio from around the year 1900.
The curator of the exhibtion is the graphic and art photographer Jürgen Maćij.
