Monographic Exhibition due to 80nth Birtday.
Before Mr. Eberhard Peters became an artist he put a practical basis to his skills. Coming from a family of glasblowers and employees in the glass industrie of Weißwasser (that is what the place is famous for) he himself learned the trade of a glass-engraver and was called as a temporary lecturer in the Upperlusatian Glaworks of Weißwasser. So it is no surprise, that despite his graphic approach he likes to work with solid material and tries to arrange objects in the tradition of the Assemblage. The monographic exhibition at the occasion of his octogenerian displays works in oil and acrylic, pastel drawings und object art. Many of his works were created from found objects.

The exhibition will be displayed inside the castle, nowadays the Administrative Court just in front of the Serbski muzej.

This exhibition is project from the Association of sorbian/wendish artists; the Serbski muzej and the Administrative Court of Saxony in Bautzen.

The opening takes place march the 15nth at 5 p.m.

The duration of the exhibition was prolongued about one month until June the 17nth 2016.
