 schen Museum zum Sorbischen Wissensforum</em></h4>\n<p>Diese Sonderausstel
 lung setzt sich mit der wechselvollen Geschichte des Sorbischen Museums au
 seinander. Die Besucher erfahren mehr über die Anfänge der musealen Sammlu
 ng und deren Werdegang\, über die ersten Ausstellungsräume und der Auflösu
 ng der Museumssammlung 1942. Aber auch über den schwierigen Neuanfang nach
  dem Zweiten Weltkrieg in Hoyerswerda und der Verlegung des Museums nach B
 autzen wird informiert. Seit den 1970er Jahren residiert das Sorbische Mus
 eum im Salzhaus auf der Bautzner Ortenburg. Doch dies soll sich in einigen
  Jahren ändern. Mit Hilfe der sächsischen Strukturwandelmittel soll ein ne
 uer Komplex im Zentrum von Bautzen entstehen: Das Sorbische Wissensforum a
 m Lauengraben. Hier sollen das Sorbische Museum und das Sorbische Institut
  eine neue Wirkstätte erhalten. Getragen wird das Projekt von der Stiftung
  für das sorbische Volk. Damit kehren diese sorbischen Institutionen zu ih
 ren Wurzeln zurück. Denn an fast der gleichen Stelle stand früher das Wend
 ische Haus\, in welchem beide Einrichtungen bei der Maćica Serbska ihren A
